Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the conference held?

All general sessions and breakout sessions are at the Daytona Ocean Center Arena. Our host hotel is the Hilton Oceanfront Resort. Surrounding hotels will handle the overflow. Register as early as possible to get in at the Hilton!

When should I send in our registrations if we don't have them all yet for our church?
Do not wait until the last minute to send in your completed registrations. Are you nearing the early registration deadline and are still waiting on a few ladies? Go ahead and send in the completed registrations that you have, and you can add more people later. Do not let those who paid you on time miss out on the early registration price.
Will online registration be made available?
Yes, online registrations will be made available this year at pfwomen.com. You can still mail or fax in your registration forms as well.
What if I can no longer go? Can I get a refund?
All payments for registration and lodging are non-refundable. They are transferable for the same event in the same year. You can either bless or sell your registration/room to someone else at your church. Once we sell out of rooms we do maintain a waiting list for those wanting a room.
What about parking?
There is parking available in several locations including but not limited to the Hilton hotel (valet), the city lot across the street from the Hilton, and the Ocean Center parking garage across the street from the hotel. However, we cannot guarantee pricing for any of these parking options as they all adjust prices at will that are out of our control. Most women carpool to Thrive, and share the cost of parking with those they ride with. Many women park when they arrive and walk wherever they are going for the duration of the conference since all the restaurants are very close by on the boardwalk. There is valet parking at the Hilton and the hotel uses a city-owned lot across the street. When you park there, the prices are set by the hotel and added to your room charge. There is also the parking garage across the street at the Ocean Center that also is available for you to park in.
If I am staying at the host hotel, can I register on my own directly with the hotel?
No. All reservations for the host hotel – Hilton Daytona Oceanfront Resort are done through our office only. All room reservations must come through our office. Refrigerators and microwaves may not be available.
Is everyone guaranteed to stay at the host hotel?
No. All attendees are not guaranteed to stay at the host hotel which is why early registration is definitely recommended. There are overflow hotels in the area that can accommodate lodging for those who are unable to get reservations with the host hotel.
I need to make a room change; can I do that?
Yes, up until September 8, 2024. However, we do recommend that you assign one “standard” person for each room. That person will never change and be the check-in person for that room, request the number of keys needed and distribute them to their roommates. List their name first on the registration sheet for their room. This keeps confusion at a minimum. We are expecting several thousand attendees and when many changes are made it increases the rate of confusion and error with our hotel staff.
Miss out on rooms?
We do maintain a waiting list in the office for those who miss out on a room. There is no guarantee that those on the waiting list will get a room, but it has worked out one or two times. (See item 4)
Where do we go when we arrive?
Check in for conference registration and your hotel are two different stops. You will check in for the conference as a group, and you will check in for your hotel rooms as individuals. Appoint one check-in person to come to our registration desk at the Ocean Center to pick up the wristbands and booklets for your group and distribute these to your ladies. Churches local to Lakeland may pick up their wristbands at the District Office.
We have Spanish speaking people with our church group. Do you have translation?
We do have Spanish translators for every main session. Headsets for translation are available before each service at the registration desk. Please let our office know if you have ladies who need translation.
Is there deaf interpretation for the THRIVE Conference?
No. We do not provide deaf interpretation at this time.

Never hesitate to call or email our office if you have questions. That is what we are here for! We love helping people get registered! 863.683.5726 ext. 232, women@penflorida.org

We love you and are already excited for what God is going to do in you and through you at this conference!
